I really do not understand how Lana can pen three master pieces in a row. But, she did. This is the third book in the Daemon Blade series, can be read on its own. Although, I highly suggest taking the dive and reading Daemon’s Blood and Daemon’s Kiss first. The bits and pieces that are weaved into the background of all three of these books, adds such a wonderful layer, that you really do not want to miss.

This book, mostly follows Logan, and Serana, and their story is wonderful. There really is no other way for me to describe it. The way that Logan and Serana play off of each other, and their hate/love relationship makes you keep turning those pages. You don’t want their story to end.

The cliffhanger that we get. FUUUUUCK, when I tell you I reread that chapter three times hoping that I was mistaken and that there was more… Lana is a wonderful Mistress with the pen, but a bit sadistic with her cliffhangers. I, of course will read anything she writes now, I am her humble sadomasochist reader now.

But, really y’all, this book is so lovely. The love story and spice that build through out, makes you root for them both to get the happy ending they so greatly deserve. We will just have to wait for the rest of the story to find out if we get it.

5/5 stars.
