I swear, everything Clio touches is GOLDEN. And the 10th book in their Creature Cafe Series does not disappoint. While each book in the series is set around different characters, there is a few people who are in each one. Those being the Barista, and Trixie.

You can read them out of order, but you might miss pieces here and there. I highly suggest reading from book 1, to the end. At this time, all 9 books are on kindle unlimited, and once the 10th one is available I do believe it will be on there as well.

I have read all 9 books via kindle unlimited, they are all 5 stars. I have also purchased the first 5 books and the art work for them, from Clio’s website. Do not miss out on the art. It is amazing!

Anyway, the whole series centers around the Barista, and his Cafe, The Creature Cafe. It is a place that humans and creatures can come and meet, be safe, and with the help of the Barista maybe find love.

The Barista, and Trixie were 2 of my favorite characters through out the whole series. You learn little things here and there in other books about the two of them, but this one really lays things out for you.

Like, who the Barista really is. Who the ex was that caused him so much trouble, and heart ache. Why creatures are fighting him, and the ones he helps find love.

Clio does such an amazing job building this world, and creating these characters. Characters that you want to know more about. Characters, that you fall in love with, or hate with a passion.

This book is steamy, this book may make you rethink your past relationships, and look for you HEA. Which Trixie, the Barista, and his ex end up finding. Along, with fighting a battle for earth, against other creatures who despise the idea of humans and creatures loving each other. But, in the end, love wins. Friendship wins. Taking a chance on breaking your heart, but instead you feel it grow, wins.

And that right there, is one of the reasons I absolutely love this series. They hit bumps in the road, may have a dark past, but everyone is deserving of love. Everyone. Even the ones that go bump in the night.

The steamy sex, and kink is helpful as well.

5/5 stars.
